Privacy

The short version: this site collects almost nothing, and we like it that way.

What we collect. Browsing the archive requires no account and sets no cookies. We see traffic only as anonymous, aggregate counts — pages viewed and visits per day, never profiles, never cross-site tracking. If you give us your email address — for drop notices or by writing to us — we use it only to reply or to tell you about drops. We never sell it, share it, or add you to anything you didn't ask for.

Buying a piece. Checkout is handled by Stripe, on a payment page they host. Your card number goes to Stripe and never touches this site or our machines. Stripe passes back your name, email, shipping address and what you bought, and we use those to send you your piece and to answer you if you write — nothing else. Stripe describes its own handling of your data in its privacy policy, and our terms of sale cover shipping and returns.

What the plumbing sees. Like nearly every website: the site is served through Cloudflare, which fronts every request and gives us cookieless, aggregate visit counts; and our host (GitHub Pages) keeps standard server logs. Our typefaces are served from this site, so no font request leaves it. If the site itself breaks in your browser, it may send us the error message, the technical trace behind it, the address of the page it broke on, the page you came from and your browser's user-agent string, so we can fix it — no name, no email, no cookie — and only while we have that switched on. None of it identifies you to us, and we add nothing on top.
